The Transport team deal with:
The provision of assistance with home to school and home to college transport.
The transport section of Education Leeds' Admission and Transport team administers policy and strategic planning for all aspects of transport for pupils and students to and from their place of education. This is in line with legal requirements and our Policy for the provision of home to school or college transport for children and students prior to their nineteenth birthday.
The transport section works closely with Metro and the West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive, to make sure adequate transport is available to serve mainstream schools attended by children who live in Leeds. Also to provide free or cost-assisted transport for all eligible pupils as well as students of sixth-form age.
